Art of Tao LaBossiere is the creative legacy of Tao LaBossiere, a celebrated muralist, sculptor, and illustrator and painter known for his passion for public art and his deep commitment to community. Tao's work spanned over 30 years, during which he dedicated himself to transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences through his art.

From vibrant murals that bring life to city streets, to paintings, illustrations, and sculptures that capture the imagination, Tao's work always reflected his belief in the power of art to inspire, heal, and connect people.

Art of Tao LaBossiere LLC was the dynamic Hartford, CT-based duo of Tao and Amy LaBossiere. As spouses and business partners, they combine their talents to create captivating works of fine art. Tao, our Creative Founder and Artistic Director, works tirelessly to transform concepts into mesmerizing masterpieces. Amy, our Chief Operations and Creative Officer, oversees the administrative and managerial aspects while providing significant artistic contributions.

Together, Tao and Amy collaborate seamlessly to fulfill the artistic visions of clients across the tri-state area. From restaurants and municipalities to corporations and private art patrons, we cater to a diverse range of clients. Our expertise is crafting large-scale public art, captivating murals, and exquisite art commissions. We work with various mediums, including sculptures, paintings, and illustrations, to bring imagination to life.

Tao LaBossiere was an award-winning muralist, sculptor, and illustrator, dedicated over 25 years to his professional artistic career. Residing at Hartford ArtSpace, he passionately celebrated community through his creative endeavors. Tao's artistic journey included serving as the volunteer co-director of the Hartford ArtSpace Gallery and establishing Art of Tao LaBossiere LLC. He also contributed his visionary talents to Still Waters Retreat Center as the lead creative partner for a decade. His educational background spanned Norwich Free Academy, Lyme Academy, The Cleveland Institute of Art, and Hartford Art School, enriching his artistic prowess.

Amy LaBossiere, an award-winning multi-disciplinary artist and creative manager, calls Hartford, CT, her home. With more than 25 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and communications, Amy brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Previously, she served as the managing partner of Still Waters Retreat Center and worked at various advertising agencies in Connecticut. She is also a published author. Alongside her artistic pursuits, Amy is a dedicated volunteer co-director of the Hartford ArtSpace Gallery and a sought-after marketing consultant. Her academic achievements include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts with a specialization in public relations from Long Island University/CW Post and a Master of Arts in Conscious Evolution from The Graduate Institute.
